The 2E width in size 12 of the 996v3 felt way narrower than other new Balance 2E shoes I have worn. Had to send the shoes back because of that narrow fit. Otherwise a nicely made shoe with lots of heel cushioning, although I could feel a bit of a potentially uncomfortable 'bar' across the shoe beneath the of ball of the foot - a phenomenon which I have seen in a few other brands of tennis shoes. Nice shoe overall if bit heavy at 15.2 oz.PS- I had a pair of New Balance Minimus tennis shoes which were super super light at 9.8 oz and nice wide 2E fit for the metatarsal area; they had little cushioning but paradoxically I could play in them for hours with no pain- but the Minimus tennis show is no longer available, too bad.My husband bought this tennis shoes, ordering the same size as his other new balance shoes. It’s so nice, but ....The size is OK but the format is somewhat different and it was TOO TIGHT in the front. We end up returning the product. We promptly received the credit. Devolution and refunding process was really simple. We love amazon!Nice looking shoe! Just didn’t work for my son. His foot runs on the narrow side, but New Balance shoes are way too wide for him. I had read some reviews that said these shoes ran narrow. Nope. The toe box seemed stiff. My son is used to wearing running shoes and the brands that normally fit him well don’t make court shoes.Bought these for my boyfriend as a gift. We play tennis together. He’s never worn a model like this and he’s enjoying them. We are older and have mostly played with a cross over sneakersI like everything about this tennis shoe...but it was to tight ...i needed a 4 EI have wide feet so I followed the advice of previous owners and I purchased a half size bigger. The shoes feel snug even with 2E.Requires breaking as it is very stiff out of the box. The tongue stitching isn't cushioned and can be annoying. Sole cushioning is pretty good. Still looking for shoe like the old Babolat SFX.I coudlnt even put them on. my feeet woudn go past the first half fo the shoe. I've used 2E on other brands but NB are usually tighterGood fit for me, very happy so far. Asics seem to be a very similar fitting to the 2E width, both work for me.Great fit, very comfortable...lightweight and good hard court manoeuvrability.I was in the market for a pair, I stumbled upon this on New Balance's own portal, instantly liked it and, cross-checked on Amazon, got an even better deal since this was only 1 piece available with cloudtail and luckily it was in my size, Super comfortable and looks great. One thing which I liked to point out, people with a wide foot should order 1 size larger than their normal fit.I had ordered size 10 which is my normal one but it was too tight for my foot and had to return the same. So please order one size more while ordering...Nice product but a size smaller than expected. So go for one size bigger
