I was so excited, I finally found a shoe that I loved the look of, and in purple and grey - my favorite colors. Plus, the shoe is vegan friendly, which is hard to find in a conventional athletic shoe.I have moderate to severe plantar fasciitis, so I have to wear custom orthotics every day, which are essentially a plastic piece under my arch and heel with thick foam covering. Most shoes I've tried on fit the plastic piece well, but these did not. Although the shoe fit a bit large, the plastic piece protruded on the sides and made the shoes even wider, and I would've had to pull the laces way too tight. I tried to deal with it, but they were so tight they squeaked every step. A smaller size would not have fixed the issue. I do not think this is a fault with the shoe, they just are not wide enough in the arch and heel to accommodate orthotics.Even if you do not have orthotics, and I have seen other reviews mentioning this as well, but the arch placement is very far up on the shoe - it pushes up close to the ball of the foot instead of at the arch. This just exacerbated the issue with the orthotics so I had to return them.Another thing to note, if you are planning to get them for day to day wear, the tread is almost cleat-like, so they are suited for trail running. It was a bit odd walking on concrete. They seem very sturdy and have good stability, if you aren't bothered by the weird arch placement. I wish they would have worked for me.I walk 4 miles a day every day. I want a shoe that is supportive but also very comfortable. I have found Merrill Agility Peak sneakers my dream come true. I look for these sneakers every time I need new ones. They now add flex to their name with 1,2,or3 after the name. The toe box is perfect and with adequate arch support, I am a contented walker!I love the shoes! This is my third pair of agility flex 2. I have to have a larger toebox and good arch support. my feet are kind of hard to fit & a lot of shoes are not comfortable for me, But these are. I bought and returned three other pair of shoes before I found these. Merrill’s are great shoes. My only complaint is that they are made overseas instead of in the US.The materials used to make this shoe are cheap and lightweight, which surprises me considering I feel Merrell is supposed to be up there with the best for quality. Maybe they will wear well, I don't know-even the TONGUE has cuts in it now- and don't tell me this is a new style- its saving a piece of material and that's all it is. Who needs a jagged tongue?Overall the comfort is good, and I will be interested to see when the fabric breaks through.I love these sneakers! They are my go to now. They provide support and last up to 6mos, with running up to 6miles at least 2-3 times a week.Really well-made and high-quality shoes. unfortunately the toe-box was a little too roomy and my toes felt like they were unsupported and swimming around too much so I returned them. Otherwise, a great shoe! I have been a loyal Merrell fan for a long time!I walk 2 miles daily on a dirt road. These have been the beat shoe for my trail hike/walk. They are light weight and plenty of support. I have a high arch. The sole is thick enough so I do not feel the gravel road.My fourth order ! Whenever my knee starts hurting I order these. They fit perfectly and I get zero pain .Used these for the Nuclear Mud Race and they were perfect. Great grip whilst running through thick mud and climbing across obstacles and also very comfortable. Slightly on the tight side but it may be due to them being new/my feet being slightly wide.Je les utilise pour l'entraînement à l'intérieur. Ils sont très confortables et ils répondent très bien à mes attentes. Le système de laçage semble un peu fragile mais il fonctionne bien. Ce sont des lacets plats. Je suis très satisfaite de mon achat.1ere chose, je chausse en principe du 38, (mais tout depend des marques ) et la j'ai du prendre un 1/2 taille au-dessus. je n'ai pas particulierement un pied large et pourtant j'ai du defaire pratiquement au maximum les lacets car au niveau du coup de pied je trouvais mon pied vraiment comprime. une fois cela ajuste je trouve ces chaussures d'un tres grand confort. il y a beaucoup d'espaces pour les orteils ce qui est bien agreable , le soutien de la cheville est bon. je sens mon pied stable avec une tres bonne repartition du " coussin d'air " sur toute la longueur de la plante du pied. de plus je les ai obtenues a un prix tres avantageux. donc je suis ravie. j'avais ete conseillee en magasin de sport par un vendeur et je ne suis pas decue.je dois preciser que je m'en sers uniquement pour marcher....je ne cours pas ni fais de competition, rien de ce genre. elles sont aussi tres performantes dans ce registre et vendues a l'origine pour des trails et autres...c'est de la super chaussure pour quelqu'un qui a des pieds fragiles et qui a besoin de confort.J'ai plusieurs produits Merrel et celui-ci bien qu'il ne soit pas haut de gamme (on peut le comprendre en raison du prix), est cheap. Normalement le 6.5 est correct, ce model est beaucoup trop grand.Buenas zapas. Es raro al principio, pues venia de Salomon donde el pie viene muy fijo y protegido. Aquí va mas suelto, mas natural. Al principio vas con mas cuidado y poco a poco vuelves a recuperar la fuerza en los tobillos y ligamentos
