This is my 3rd pair of these New Balance. I use New Balance because they cater to people with wide feet.Those of you who use New Balance know they have a 6 month sole warranty. I’m a bigger guy so they wear out quick. The great thing is that you basically get 2 pairs for the price of one.Now I normally order from Tennis Warehouse but they were out of stock so I searched Amazon and found that Zappos was selling them on here. So I ordered them. Of course the soles wore out as they do so I sent a message through Amazon asking how I send them back in. And here is where Zappos gained a customer for life; Zappos responded letting me know that it was beyond the Amazon return date. What I didn’t know was Zappos has a 365 day warranty is you order from them! They refunded me my money and I will be ordering directly from them directly! As should you!I have had a pain in my heels but after purchasing these , my pain is going away. Truth as advertisedI was looking for a more comfortable shoe for Pickle Ball as my NB 608's were no longe fitting the bill. This shoe was great from day 1. The fit is perfect for my size (13D) and I no longer experience the toe discomfort I had occasionally with my previous shoe. This shoe provides good support for both lateral and start and stop movement. I wear a thin sock and my foot doesn't slide inside the shoe. There is no noticeable friction on the heel. If they last a while playing 3-4 times a week I'll up my review to 5 stars.Comfortable shoe that is wearing wellSo hard to find wide shoes now. 9.5 4E was a half size larger than the 806v1, which I had previously been buying. Not sure if the 806 is smaller than normal or the 1006 is larger, but it's disappointing that New Balance can't make shoes the same size across this one line.Also I noticed these shoes have a concave cup in the bottom of the front of the shoe, which seems unusual. Maybe that's a good design, I'll never know because these had to go back to Amazon.I've been a New Balance user for a long time and I always like the fit of their shoes. This was no different; they're light, comfortable and provide great support. We'll have to see with regard to how well they hold up regarding wear.
