These are definitely only for fashion. I love the look on these shoes and they are very comfortable, however the entire front is woven and if you tried to do much else other than walk I feel that they would rip and tear very easily. It's so thin that if you move your toes you can see the outline of your toes and bones in your feet. It's almost as if you are wearing socks. They are easy to slip on and off and have an elastic tongue which makes for a snug fit without having to tighten the laces. Overall though, they are very overpriced even if they're great looking shoes.
