I've only owned these shoes for a day, so maybe this review is a little premature, but I'm impressed by the weight, comfort and quality of these shoes. I wasn't sure what size to go for. Some people said "buy true to size" others said "go half a size up" - for me, Adidas is half-a-size-up, and I bought the same Brooks US size as my Adidas US size (for me that's 11.5 US for both Adidas and Brooks). So I got a perfect size, with just a little extra room around the big toe, which I like. The toe box of these shoes is nice and wide, like Altra shoes. The weight is light, which is unusual for trail shoes. And the upper is well made. Looks like they'll last a long time. I like how they're a good crossover shoe you can use on the trail and also on pavement. Great choice, especially since I believe the 7's are better than the 8's (according to some online reviews).UPDATE: I've run about 20 miles with these shoes, on a variety of terrain, and they're good. My only quibble is that they can be a little slippery on steel manhole covers after the rain, but otherwise, they're a great hybrid shoe for both trail and road running. I like the weight - they're light. The sole material seems to become softer after you've put a few miles into the shoes. The "burrito style tongue" is comfy. The drop is 4mm, which works well for trail running (when I don't really want a 10mm+ drop). Nice shoes. Man läuft klasse damit.
